Blast from the past
The architecture ball last night was awesome. But before I get onto the pics and stuff, the most bizzare thing ever happened!
Bare with me, this might seem kind of convoluted...
...Anyway, we were going manic on the dance floor because some song we like had come on and my camera flew out of Paul's pocket (he'd been looking after it because I only had a pretty but inpractical clutch bag) and hit the floor. It didn't look broken but the batteries and memory card flew out.
So I put them back in. But because I only have one card and use the cable, I never really get it out so I couldn't remember exactly how it went (plus the cider of course) so I didn't shove it all the way in. I turned the camera on to check that it still worked and the first thing I saw was that the card was full. Oh shit! I thought. The card shouldn't have been full so it must be broken. I clicked onto the view button to see what it claimed was on there - and nearly fainted!
It was a pic of the restaurant in Brno train station!!! The pictures on the card were the ones from this trip which I thought had been wiped off by the internet cafe guy!
I was boggling and boggling, and I took the card out, put it in properly and there were my ball pictures back. So at the end of the night when we got home I downloaded them, took the card out again, put it not quite all the way in and downloaded my Czech Republic pics! I just ... I'm really stupidly excied by this but OMG what are the chances? I still don't really understand what the hell happened. Weird weird weird!
So was well as the pictures from last night, there's a long-overdue two and a half year old Czech Republic spam on the horizon! Wooooohoooo!
Me posing in my dress in the flat. I bought it about six weeks ago from a vintage shop up the hill, after getting a surprise £200 paycheck from having been underpaid at the end of the summer. It cost £75 which is about what you'd pay for a new one anyway:)

I kept trying to look all snooty and Dior model-ish but Paul kept making me laugh!
In our fave pub, The Ritz, where we popped for a drink before heading to the Drill Hall. (It's also known as the working-class Wetherspoons or the Dole Office Wetherspoons and a lot of students think it's an old man pub and won't go there. I met Paul there)
Me in the Drill Hall

Two pics of us looking weird.
Back of dress - isn't it wonderful!!!!!
